Resetting the Remote Maintenance

Device

You should reset the RMD only if instructed by the BCS National Service

Assistance Center (NSAC). Typically, you will be asked to reset the RMD if the

modem does not answer.

WARNING:

This procedure should be performed by qualified technicians only.

To reset the RMD, press the RMD Reset button located on the MERLIN

LEGEND MAIL module. You can use a straightened paper clip or pen point to

press the RMD Reset button.
